Air-ride Kits - What are they?
It is a complete replacement of your stock torsion style suspension using air sleeve shocks on the front and individual air-bags on the rear. With the kit fitted you will be able to adjust the ride height of your vehicle either whilst stationary or on the move at the touch of a button! With traditional lowering using an adjustable front beam the ride can be some what rough and uncomfortable to say the least!!
With an air-ride system you can lower your VW to floor but at the same time vastly improve the comfort of the ride. For instance, If you hit a pot hole in the road with a Non Air ride VW, the entire car will feel it, even your bones! With an air-ride kit correctly installed, each wheel will be independent from each other, thus allowing it to absorb the pot hole and not allowing the whole car to feel it! How much will it lower my v-dub by?
The kits have up to 12 inches of travel front and rear! The standard VW suspension has 4 inches of travel at the front and only 3 inches at the rear. It is possible to lower your car to the floor subject to wheel and tyre arrangements and dropped spindles. See pictures for how low you can go!

Airkewld air-ride kits are tested for driveability, structure and reliability. The kits come with a manufacturers warranty on all components. All brackets are laser cut for a precision fit, using the best materials available. Each kit comes with instructions in a step by step form.
